Welcome to the Temiskaming Shores Public Library!

What’s New?

Library Board Meeting: Wednesday, May 15 at 7:00 at the New Liskeard Branch Library

If you have used technology services at the TSPL in the last month, we encourage you to fill out this survey. Your answers will help the public library improve and prioritize its technology services and show how important it is for those services to be delivered to the community.

This includes connecting to the Internet (e.g., through WiFi, at a workstation, etc.), using equipment, software and facilities (e.g., Digital Creator Space, audio-visual production equipment, business-related software, devices used for entertainment, etc.), digital literacy and technology classes (Gadget Helper and the NEOnet courses), digital literacy and technology support (if you’ve stopped by with questions about electronic devices).

Steps to Justice
Steps to Justice is a first-of-its-kind initiative that empowers people in Ontario to understand and take action to deal with their legal problems. It gives comprehensive online information on common legal problems that people experience in family, housing, employment and other areas of law.
Steps to Justice:
  • equips people to work through their legal problems through easy-to-understand steps
  • includes practical tools, such as checklists, fillable forms, and self-help guides
  • gives referral information for legal and social services across Ontario
  • has live chat and email-based support for users with additional questions
Numerous justice sector partners are informing and reviewing the content to ensure that it is accurate and practical. That means that Ontarians looking for practical legal information online will be able to access it easily and quickly – and know that it is reliable – no matter where their search begins.
